Almost two thirds of Brits confused by renewables

A study by ReEnergise Renewables has found that, whilst many are concerned about the environment, almost two-thirds of British homeowners don’t understand renewable energy sources such as solar and wind energy.

This makes them reluctant to invest in the technology for their own homes, as they’re unsure how the costs weigh up against the benefits.

Adam Hewson, Co-Founder of ReEnergise Renewables, said:

"We think homeowners are confused and turned-off by some of the hard-sell tactics being deployed by equipment dealers and are looking for an honest and independent advisor to guide them through the renewables market."
