Scrap the 'cost culprits', says The Carbon Trust
12.01.2010
According to The Carbon Trust small and medium-sized businesses are wasting so much energy through inefficient equipment that it’s costing them over £3bn a year.
From corner shops to factories, pubs to hotels, huge amounts of energy are being wasted simply because equipment hasn’t been updated or modernised. The Carbon Trust is calling for SME’s to replace old equipment and scrap what they are calling ‘cost culprits’ or face thousands of pounds added to annual energy bills.
The Carbon Trust has developed a guide to help SME’s recognise these ‘cost culprits’ and more importantly how they can become more profitable.
