Conservatives say “Vote blue and go green”, as they publish their manifesto

In their manifesto published on Tuesday 13 April, the Conservative Party outline plans to support renewables and make the UK a low-carbon economy.

 

The manifesto also criticizes the Labour Party for saying the right things on Climate Change but not following through with actions, labelling them as ‘warm words’.

 

The Party claims to ‘unleash’ the power of green enterprise; promote resource efficiency, encourage both large and small scale energy production, and establish two marine energy parks.
