Consultation launched on the Government’s proposed changes to feed-in tariffs (FiT) for solar photovoltaic

Greg Barker, Climate Change Minister, today launched a consultation on the Government’s proposed changes to feed-in tariffs (FiT) for solar photovoltaic (PV).

In his consultation, he states that since the start of the FIT scheme the average PV system cost has fallen by at least 30%. The consultation document focuses on the budget issue that has arisen as a result of this, and proposes that solar PV tariffs are reduced.
