A High Court decision on 21st December that called the government’s plans to slash feed-in tariffs (FITs) "legally flawed" is due to be appealed by the government.
Mr Justice Mitting ruled that it would be illegal for the government's proposed cuts to have an "effective date" of 12 December, two weeks before the consultation officially ended on 23 December.
DECC has until tomorrow to appeal.
