A report compiled within the RE-Shaping: Shaping an effective and efficient European renewable energy market European research project has highlighted that support policy costs for renewable energy projects can be lowered by 10% a year in the EU.
The report produced - Towards Triple-A Policies: More Renewable Energy at Lower Cost – stated that national governments must apply policy stabilisers, raise policy stability, and lower revenue risks for investors in order for these cost reductions to be achieved.
