The Carbon Reduction Commitment Scheme launch

Today (Thursday 1^st April) sees the start of the Government’s Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) energy efficiency scheme.

Any qualifying businesses must register for the scheme by September 2010 at which point they will be ranked in a league according to the energy they have saved or spent. The emissions costs levied from participants will then be reallocated according to relative performance.
