"Your green economy needs you" - Greg Barker

Greg Barker, Minister of State for Energy and Climate Change, has drawn out his plans for Britain’s green future in an article in Business Green.

In the article, Mr Barker highlights the importance of a skilled workforce in delivering the renewable targets set by the UK Government, and “stealing a march in the global low carbon race”.

His comments coincide with National Apprenticeship Week, and he acknowledged the opportunities offered by Government initiatives such as the Green Deal to create jobs in renewables, such as installation of solar panels and ground source heating.
